Description

A creamy, no-bake chocolate cherry cream pie layered with graham cracker crust, smooth chocolate pudding, cherry pie filling, and whipped topping. Perfect for holidays, birthdays, or anytime you need a stunning dessert without turning on the oven.


Ingredients

8 Honey Grahams, finely crushed

1/4 cup sugar

1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted

1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling, divided

2 packages (3.9 oz each) chocolate instant pudding mix

1 1/2 cups milk

2 1/2 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.

  • In a medium bowl, combine crushed graham crackers, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until evenly combined.

  • Press mixture firmly into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate.

  • Bake crust for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely.

  • Spread 1 cup of cherry pie filling over the bottom of the cooled crust.

  • In another bowl, whisk together pudding mixes and milk for 2 minutes until thickened.

  • Gently fold in 1 1/2 cups of whipped topping until smooth.

  • Spread the chocolate mixture evenly over the cherry layer in the crust.

  • Cover the entire top of the pie with the remaining whipped topping.

  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until firm.

 

  • Garnish with the remaining cherry pie filling before serving.


Notes

For a deeper chocolate flavor, substitute dark chocolate pudding mix.

Use sugar-free or fat-free versions of pudding and whipped topping for a lighter pie.

Make ahead: Can be prepared 1 day in advance and stored covered in the refrigerator.

Freeze without top cherry layer, then thaw and garnish just before serving.
