Description
Dubai chocolate covered strawberries are a luxurious layered dessert made with fresh strawberries, pistachio cream, tahini, toasted kataifi, and smooth chocolate ganache. This viral Middle Eastern-inspired treat blends textures and bold flavors for an unforgettable experience.
Ingredients
1 pint fresh strawberries, sliced
4 oz kataifi, defrosted and roughly chopped
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon tahini
½ cup pistachio cream
¼ cup heavy cream
½ cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and add chopped kataifi. Stir constantly for 15–20 minutes until it becomes golden and crispy.
Remove from heat and mix in the tahini and pistachio cream. Set the filling aside to cool.
In a separate saucepan, warm the heavy cream for 3–4 minutes without boiling.
Pour the warm cream over the chocolate chips and stir until a smooth ganache forms.
In individual dessert glasses, add a layer of sliced strawberries.
Top with a spoonful of the pistachio kataifi filling, then drizzle with ganache.
Repeat the layers if desired. Chill the assembled cups for 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use coconut cream and dairy-free chocolate for a vegan version. Kataifi can be substituted with crushed nuts for gluten-free diets. Serve chilled for best texture.
