Description
This viral dessert layers fresh strawberries, pistachio cream, toasted kataifi, and rich chocolate for a luxurious and visually stunning treat inspired by Dubai’s dessert culture.
Ingredients
2 cups fresh strawberries, halved or quartered
1 cup shredded kataifi
1 tablespoon butter
3/4 cup pistachio cream or pistachio butter
1/2 cup crushed pistachios
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon coconut oil
Instructions
Toast kataifi in a pan with butter over medium heat until golden and crispy.
Mix the toasted kataifi with pistachio cream and crushed pistachios. Set aside.
Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil until smooth and glossy.
In a dessert glass, layer strawberries, melted chocolate, and kataifi mixture. Repeat.
Top with crushed pistachios and serve immediately or chill for 30–60 minutes.
Notes
You can substitute kataifi with finely broken toasted vermicelli or even puffed cereal. For a dairy-free option, use plant-based butter and vegan chocolate chips. Add a splash of rose water or top with edible gold flakes for extra flair.
